File extension rfl information

The file extension RFL is associated with Reason ReFill Sound Bank. The files are a component package for reason which is a song creation program with an advanced sequencer and virtual studio rack. The Reason ReFill Sound Bank files contain samples, patches, song files and REX files. The files are audio files created using ReFill packer. When WAV and AIF files are stored in ReFills they are compressed to about half of their original size. The programs that open RFL files are windows and Mac OS propeller head software reason.
A propellerhead software reason application needs to be installed before one can access, play or edit files with file extension RFL. The files can be imported from some other format or even exported to more commonly used formats. Reason refill and soundbank file can be relocated to another hard disk if the user has a second drive. The reason refills are just dragged to it and the reasons browser pointed towards the drive. Keeping samples on a separate drive improves performance since boot drive can now concentrate on running applications.
